From March 19th-March 20th, PCPI’s Measurement Science team will be offering in-person trainings as well as an inside look at what we have planned for 2018. Starting on March 19th with our Measurement Science Bootcamp, PCPI will be providing an introduction to the measure development process. This bootcamp offers an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about PCPI’s measure conceptualization and design, as well as our approach to the technical specification of clinical quality measures.
Kicking off March 20th attendees are invited to attend the Newly Added QCDR Session where we will bring together QCDR stewards for an interactive dialogue on measures in QCDRs: Advocating for Meaningful Measures in Qualified Clinical Data Registries (QCDRs). From here attendees are encouraged to join the Measures Advisory Committee (MAC) to gain insight on current NQF/CMS projects, the MAC harmonization project and the MAC unintended consequences project.
March 21st will start with breakfast roundtables featuring topics focused on Measure Development, Measure Testing and Measure specifications. After breakfast, attendees have the option to select from a variety of sessions running along three focused tracks. The Measurement Science track is titled Moving Toward Alternative Payment Models and will includes the topics “Alternative Payment Models: Past, Present and Future”, “Insights and Lessons Learned with Existing Alternative Payment Models” and “Innovations in Specialty Payment Models”.
